Transformational leadership for educational management

Abstract

The general objective of this research was to analyze transformational leadership for educational management.  The methodology used was quantitative with explanatory and analytical scope and documentary-bibliographic support. Likewise, the analytical-synthetic approach consisted of mentally decomposing the system studied into several elements in order to obtain new knowledge. Refereed scientific articles and graduate theses were analyzed, which made it possible to generate a theoretical framework on transformational leadership for educational management. As results, it constitutes one of the most important strategies in the educational field, since it contributes to the implementation, together with the educational community, teams of teachers, students and community, in establishing new ways of teaching and repesing education. It is concluded that transformational leadership provides an alternative for education at all levels, in the exploration of new formulas for training, learning and pedagogy.
