Application of the lean methodology in supply chain management

Abstract

The objective of the research was to apply the Lean Methodology in the management of the supply chain in a construction materials distributor company in the city of Riobamba. The research was descriptive, because the features and characteristics of the phenomenon of the studied reality are detailed. The Results showed that the respondents are satisfied with the company's business hours, on the other hand, people state that the order and cleanliness of the products displayed, as well as the company's facilities, is good. In conclusion, the majority of those surveyed indicated that the shopping experience was good, very good or excellent, being these parameters a consistent indicator that the Lean methodologies applied in the supply chain created a positive impact on customer satisfaction, which translates into an increase in the company's profits.
