Abstract

The objective of the research was to analyze the level of complexity that exists for small, medium and large companies that intend to carry out commercialization processes at the international level and require compliance with quality and safety parameters. The research was descriptive with the intention of opening the way between the information found in different media to support the objective of the investigation. The results showed that around 148 products are exported from the province of Tungurahua, including footwear, leather, gelatin, textiles, handicrafts, tagua buttons, personal care items, and fresh cut roses. In conclusion, it is necessary that the commercial opening and the globalization of markets have accelerated the processes so that the companies can comply with the parameters of quality and food safety for international trade, since it is a guarantee for the consumers of each one of the countries and companies that demand these compliances.
