Abstract

ABSTRACT

The objective of the investigation was to manage the tracking of errors in the video surveillance room through business intelligence. The type of research was descriptive. The results reflected that the information reports with the use of the business intelligence tool, allowed to generate reports and dynamic graphs where the lack of emergency vehicles, the relocation and reorganization of cameras by user is represented. Regarding the conclusion, it is stated that the delivery of indicators and reports made it possible to reduce frequent errors in the processes carried out in the video surveillance room, significantly improving the management and delivery of information and decision-making of emergency services by of statistics being the directly benefited the statistical personnel and indirectly the citizens.
