Objective: To analyze the impact of sucrose consumption on dehydrated teeth in early infancy. Method: Descriptive documentary study. Conclusion: The consumption of sucrose during early infancy has a significant impact on the oral health of deciduous teeth, increasing the risk of dental caries due to the inherent vulnerability of these teeth to acid demineralization. This risk not only compromises dental integrity and masticatory function in childhood, but also limits the therapeutic potential of deciduous teeth as a source of stem cells for future regenerative applications.
