La importancia de pérdida prematura de dientes temporales en niños de 6 a 10 años

Objetivo: Analizar las implicaciones clínicas y ortodónticas de la pérdida prematura de dientes temporales en niños de 6 a 10 años. Método: Descriptivo documental. Conclusión: La pérdida prematura de dientes temporales en niños de 6 a 10 años tiene profundas implicaciones que van más allá de la cavidad oral, afectando tanto la morfología dental como el desarrollo funcional y psicosocial del niño. Las evidencias revisadas subrayan la importancia de mantener la integridad de los dientes temporales para evitar maloclusiones, alteraciones en la erupción dental, y problemas de autoestima y socialización.
