Influence of oral health on the quality of life of older adults

Objective: To analyze the influence of oral health on the quality of life of the elderly. Method: Descriptive documentary, the population was 15 scientific articles in PubMed. Conclusion: Oral health plays a crucial role in the quality of life of older adults, significantly influencing their physical, emotional and social well-being. The findings of this analysis highlight the need for comprehensive and personalized dental care for this population, focusing on the prevention and management of oral conditions that may contribute to overall frailty and deterioration.
