Physiological effects on oral health in pregnant mothers

Objective: To identify the physiological effects on the oral health of pregnant mothers. Method: Descriptive documentary, the population was 15 articles published in PubMed. Conclusion: Oral health during pregnancy is crucial due to the physiological and hormonal changes that occur during this period. Oral health education and awareness in pregnant women is essential to prevent oral pathologies and improve perinatal outcomes.
