Maintenance and care of acrylic dental prostheses in patients aged 40-65 years

Objective: To examine the maintenance and care of dental acrylic prostheses in patients aged 40-65 years. Method: Descriptive documentary. Conclusion: Partial removable prostheses (PRP) play a key role in improving the quality of life of patients, especially in older adults, by providing effective functional and aesthetic solutions. Innovations in materials, such as the use of nanoclay and CAD-CAM polymers, together with advanced ultrasonic cleaning techniques, have been shown to improve the durability and maintenance of PRPs. The incorporation of antimicrobial implants and materials also contributes to longevity and user comfort.
