Objective: To analyze feeding and care in deciduous tooth formation. Methods: This study was designed as a systematic review following PRISMA guidelines. Conclusion: The therapeutic use of vitamin E and pentoxifylline before dental extractions to prevent osteoradionecrosis in patients irradiated for head and neck cancer has shown promising results. This combination of treatments may significantly reduce the risk of serious complications, suggesting a potential therapeutic use of tocopherol in dental practice. This intervention highlights how advances in regenerative and preventive therapy can significantly improve dental health outcomes in patients with specific conditions. The health of deciduous teeth is critical to immediate oral function and future oral health.
