Abstract

Objective: To analyze the components of the daily diet and their influence on tooth sensitivity. Method: A systematic review of 15 scientific articles was carried out using scientific databases such as PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science. Conclusion: Evidence suggests that probiotics may be an effective tool in the prevention and management of dental caries and periodontitis. However, more research is needed to establish standardized administration protocols and evaluate long-term effectiveness in different populations. Nutritionists and dentists should consider probiotics as part of a comprehensive approach to oral health improvement.
