Abstract

Objective: to analyze the impact of education and training on the perception and knowledge of nursing students on the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases. Method: Descriptive observational. Results: How important do you think sex education is in the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases? Very important 50%, important 30%, not very important 15%, not at all important 5%. Conclusion: Comprehensive, evidence-based education in the area of sexually transmitted disease prevention is essential to ensure that nursing students have an adequate understanding of this topic and are trained to address sexual health issues in their future professional practice.
