Resumen

Objetivo: Analizar el impacto del consumo de sacarosa en dientes deciduos en la primera lactancia. Método: Descriptivo documental. Conclusión: El consumo de sacarosa durante la primera lactancia tiene un impacto significativo en la salud bucal de los dientes deciduos, incrementando el riesgo de caries dental debido a la vulnerabilidad inherente de estos dientes a la desmineralización ácida. Este riesgo no solo compromete la integridad dental y la función masticatoria en la infancia, sino que también limita el potencial terapéutico de los dientes deciduos como fuente de células madre para aplicaciones regenerativas futuras.
