Influencia de la salud bucodental en la calidad de vida del adulto mayor

Objetivo: Analizar la influencia de la salud bucodental en la calidad de vida del adulto mayor. Método: Descriptiva documental, la población fue de 15 articulos científicos en PubMed. Conclusión: La salud bucodental juega un papel crucial en la calidad de vida de los adultos mayores, influyendo significativamente en su bienestar físico, emocional y social. Los hallazgos de este análisis resaltan la necesidad de una atención dental integral y personalizada para esta población, enfocándose en la prevención y el manejo de condiciones orales que pueden contribuir a la fragilidad y deterioro general.
