Strategic planning process in university quality management

The present investigation is carried out with the purpose of evaluating the strategic planning that influences the quality of the management of its university processes of the substantive functions in Uniandes. The study was descriptive, since it allows establishing a detailed analysis of the most significant elements that are linked to the quality of university management. The Results reflected some strengths such as teamwork in each of the functions, departments, Headquarters and Extension in the planning processes and in the same way we found weakness in internal communication and collaboration of delivery times for the evaluation of planning execution. operative. In conclusion, a proposal is presented, with emphasis on the principles of quality in Higher Education that should focus on the student, leadership, participation of people (Internal and external), strategy and procedures of institutional processes and permanent continuous improvement.
