Abstract

The arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, caused the closure of educational centers, therefore, it was sought to give continuity in education, totally modifying the educational system to virtuality, an unforeseen event that generated obstacles to the teachers of the Catholic University of Cuenca UCACUE extension La Troncal, an investigation was carried out in order to analyze how the institution's teachers faced the pandemic, through a quantitative, non-experimental and cross-sectional approach with the application of digital surveys, from which results were obtained that Among the negative aspects is student demotivation, because the classes are basic and generate boredom, this due to the lack of incorporation of digital tools in education, being digital illiteracy together with other factors causing health problems such as stress, worry, or emotional exhaustion.
