Objective: To evaluate orthodontic camouflage techniques to treat skeletal Class II malocclusions. Methods: A comprehensive literature review was conducted in academic databases between 2013 and 2023. Of 1,278 studies identified, 1,062 were selected after initial screening, and 17 suitable studies were reviewed in depth. Results: Orthodontic camouflage in skeletal Class II is achieved through customized evaluations. Techniques include tooth extractions and the use of absolute anchorage, improving both the maxillomandibular relationship and patient esthetics. Conclusions: Orthodontic camouflage is an effective option for patients with skeletal Class II, provided an individualized evaluation is performed. Continuous monitoring of the labial profile is crucial to adjust treatment and optimize results.
