Objective: to analyze nursing care in obstetric patients with gravid toxemia. Method: Descriptive documentary. Results and Conclusion: The care provided by the nursing professional in patients with gravid toxemia is essential to prioritize interventions, since the pathology should be treated in an integral and interdisciplinary manner, considering the biological and psychosocial aspects that affect the pregnant woman during labor and postpartum, thus the role of nursing plays an important role in the detection, care and recovery, in order to avoid the presence of complications that put the maternal fetal life at risk, These are organized and systematized scientific cares that include a great number of general and specific nursing actions that contribute in a positive way in the decision making process of the problems that affect the health of the patients.
