Objective: To evaluate the levels of anxiety and depression of psychology students at Uniandes. Method: Descriptive observational, the population was 88 students of the psychology career of UNIANDES. Results: The results reflect a great variability of degrees of depression, there is very little difference between not depressed and mild depression, however, Severe and Moderate depression stand out, the analysis of the arithmetic mean corresponds to M = 12.107, which reflects a lower depression in the subjects. Conclusion: The high prevalence of anxiety and depression among psychology students highlights the urgent need for specific interventions within academic programs that proactively address these disorders. Given the introspective and emotionally demanding nature of their training, these students face unique challenges that may increase their vulnerability to mental health problems.
