Objective: To analyze nanotechnology and its applications in dentistry. Method: Descriptive documentary. Conclusion: Nanotechnology is transforming dentistry by introducing innovative materials and techniques that improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of oral diseases. From the potent antimicrobial properties of silver nanoparticles to advances in restorative materials and tissue regeneration, nanotechnology applications offer significant potential to improve oral health and patients' quality of life.
