Objective: To analyze the oral hygiene techniques used by university students. Method: Descriptive documentary. Conclusion: The promotion of oral hygiene techniques among university students is essential to prevent the appearance of oral diseases and improve their quality of life. Evidence suggests that, despite their educational level, many students lack adequate knowledge about oral hygiene practices and the risks associated with their neglect.
