Awareness of the importance of oral health in pregnant women

Objective: To assess oral health awareness among pregnant women and its impact on the prevention of oral and obstetric complications, highlighting the need for specific and effective educational interventions. Methods: systematic review of the literature. Conclusion: Oral health in pregnant women represents a critical area requiring increased attention and education. Through well-designed educational interventions and effective interdisciplinary collaboration, it is possible to increase awareness of the importance of oral health and prevent oral and obstetric complications.
