Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the level of knowledge and frequency of flossing among high school students in Ecuador. Method: Descriptive documentary. Conclusion: Public policies should focus on ensuring that all students have access to the resources necessary to maintain good oral health. Parental involvement in promoting oral hygiene habits is also crucial. Strategies that involve families in oral health education programmes can enhance the adoption of healthy practices among adolescents. Improving flossing among high school students in Ecuador requires a holistic approach that combines education, accessibility and family support.
