The role of nursing in the organ donation process

Objective: To analyze the role of nursing in the organ donation process and its impact on the efficacy of transplantation. Methods: Descriptive observational study. Results and conclusion: In terms of nursing care during the organ donation process, coordination with the medical and surgical teams is considered crucial, as well as the follow-up and postoperative care of donors and recipients. This highlights the vital role of nursing in the comprehensive care of patients throughout the entire process.
