Quality of life related to oral health in adults

Objective: To determine the frequency of the impact of oral health on the quality of life in adults in general in the city of Guayaquil. Method: descriptive observational study. The population consisted of 384 adults in the city of Guayaquil. Results: The highest percentage of respondents (48.44%) was from 18 to 78 years of age in both sexes. According to the academic level, it was observed that there is a relationship between the level of impact and the level of study. The majority of the population was at secondary school level and above (76.31%). There was a lower effect with respect to quality of life. Conclusion: There is a low level of impact with respect to the respondents in the city of Guayaquil, and there was no significant difference in terms of sex (p=0.381).
