Abstract

Objective: to analyze nursing care in pediatric patients affected by COVID-19 in the scientific literature. Method: bibliographic review by means of the PRISMA procedure. Results: 15 articles were analyzed with clear and truthful information on the topic addressed. Conclusion: COVID-19 is a group of viruses that cause respiratory diseases ranging from a common cold to more serious diseases, such as Pneumonia (MERS) (SARS). Despite the spread, the clinical spectrum in children remains unclear. The role played by children in the transmission of the disease and the mechanism of infant infection is not yet fully known, however, the clinical characterization of each of them varies according to the type of immunity they present to this disease, as it can range from very mild to critical and even causing the death of this.
