Evaluación de los niveles de ansiedad previo a la realización de tratamientos odontológicos en pacientes

Objetivo: Realizar una evaluación de los niveles de ansiedad previo a la realización de tratamientos odontológicos en pacientes en la consulta odontológica al Centro de Salud La Península. Método: Descriptiva observacional. Conclusión: De acuerdo con el análisis por procedimiento odontológico, aquellos que producen más altos niveles de ansiedad constituyen las exodoncias 39%, y los más bajos el curetaje 10%; en el primer caso al percibir el paciente la técnica anestésica a utilizarse, en el segundo frente a la utilización del instrumental odontológico como la cureta. En ambos casos se obstaculiza el tratamiento imposibilitando darle la continuidad debida, descuidando el paciente por consiguiente su salud oral.
