Strategic improvement plan for the administrative and operational processes of public companies

Abstract

The objective of this research was focused on the design of a strategic improvement plan for the administrative and operational processes of public companies. Due to its modality, the research was considered field with a non-experimental design. For the study, direct observation, unstructured interviews and focus groups were used. The research began with a comprehensive diagnosis of the company, which was developed using the methodology of Jack Fleitman, then the opportunities for improvement for the administrative and operational areas of the organizations were determined. Based on the results, three improvement strategies were formulated, which were generated and validated through brainstorming with the managers of the areas with deficiencies. Finally, the action plan was designed for the implementation of strategies with their respective activities, and execution times to achieve them.
