Abstract

The objective of the research was to identify the results of the application of Supply Chain Management (SMC) in managerial decision making at Industrias Metálicas Viteri Celin. The scope of the research is descriptive because it characterizes the obtaining of data for decision making in the company. As a result of the diagnosis made to IMVIC, the main problems are a waste of resources in Supply Flow which incurs in delivery times of Final products. In conclusion, the success or not of this solution will depend on several important factors such as reduction of bottlenecks, use of knowledge bases and use of the solution, the latter could fully define the success of the project since the The quality of decision making will depend on the information generated as a basis for correct decision making.
