Comportamiento estructural de un hospital en su estado actual vs con disipadores de energía

This research analyzes the Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital, which provides services to important areas of the Austro region. Previously, studies have been carried out analyzing elastic and inelastic ranges where it was concluded that the structure has deficiencies in the seismic-resistant area. A non-linear static analysis was carried out where the hospital's shortcomings were evidenced and, therefore, viscous energy dissipaters were implemented to keep the vibration period of the building high. A scaling of the seismic events was carried out in order to subsequently perform a nonlinear dynamic analysis using the Etabs program. The implementation of the reinforcement of the hospital complies with the current regulations in the country and, in addition, it is calculated to have a platinium classification, guaranteeing the constant operability of the structure.
