Digital technologies as a strategy for sex education training

The objective of the research was to analyze how the use of appropriate methodologies and the application of digital technologies for teaching sexual education can contribute to meaningful learning in high school students. Using a non-experimental, cross-sectional correlational descriptive scope, using Pearson's Chi-square analysis, applying a survey and a 19-question questionnaire to 155 students. The information that parents give about sexuality if it influences the knowledge of young people. It is shown that parents present a great conflict when it comes to addressing issues related to sexuality, in this study it was revealed that there are still limitations in the process of obtaining information from family members, given the insufficient preparation in this educational area. There is a need to comprehensively, dynamically and creatively approach sexual health classes.
