The teaching excursion and its educational implications

The general objective of the research was to analyze the teaching excursion and its educational implications. The research was conducted from a quantitative perspective through the retrieval, collection and analysis of documentary and bibliographic references. In this sense, the researchers used a documentary-type bibliographic design to carry out a research process in which the study population is mainly based on written documents such as refereed papers, standards and laws, as well as taking into account the content analysis of the information collected. The inductive-deductive approach was also employed. A questionnaire was applied to 26 students of the first level of the Law Degree, UNIANDES, Ibarra, Ecuador, in the Hybrid Modality, academic period May-September 2023. It is concluded that the teaching excursion, whether face-to-face or virtual, is an appropriate educational strategy for the study of cultural values representative of the locality
