Abstract

The general objective of the research was to analyze virtuality in university education in times of pandemic. A retrospective look. It was developed through a descriptive quantitative methodological design with documentary-bibliographic support, the researchers organized a research process where the study population was based primarily on written documents such as refereed scientific papers, statistics, to investigate the writings in order to study them and build conclusions that favored the generation of new knowledge. As a result, it can be indicated that virtuality represented a support in the advancement of higher education in times of pandemic and that at present it complements the prespecialty in university institutions. It is concluded that the experience of this health emergency and social distancing that university teachers and students went through, making an effort to remain technologically active and interact, with the purpose of prolonging the teaching and learning process of quality.
