Knowledge about the immediate management of dental trauma

Objective: To assess knowledge about immediate management of dental trauma. Methods: This systematic review was carried out following PRISMA guidelines. An exhaustive search was carried out in PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science databases, covering 15 articles published in the last five years. Conclusion: The results of this systematic review underline the urgent need to improve toothbrush maintenance habits among elementary school students, showing a significant prevalence of inadequate practices that compromise oral health.
