Resumen

Objetivo: Analizar la dieta cariogénica en niños de educación inicial. Método: revisión sistemática. Conclusión: La evidencia revisada subraya la necesidad urgente de implementar intervenciones multifacéticas y políticas de salud pública para abordar la alta prevalencia de caries dental en niños de educación inicial. La dieta cariogénica, caracterizada por un alto consumo de azúcares fermentables, es un factor crítico en la etiología de la caries dental.
