Objective: To analyze the frequency of citrus fruit consumption as a risk factor for dental erosion. Method: Descriptive documentary study, 15 scientific articles published in PubMed were reviewed. Conclusion: Frequency of citrus fruit consumption is a significant risk factor for dental erosion. Early identification of harmful dietary habits and implementation of personalized preventive strategies are essential to protect the integrity of tooth enamel and maintain oral health in patients. Continuing education and awareness of the risks associated with frequent consumption of acidic foods should be priorities in dental practice.
