Pouring of plaster on skirting boards and waxing of casings Which is more practical?

Objective: to compare the casting of plaster in skirting boards and wax plaster casts with the intention of finding out which is more practical for student apprentices. Method: Descriptive documentary, 15 works published in Scielo, PubMed, Latindex were reviewed. Conclusion: Two methods of casting plaster models were determined in more depth. On the one hand, there is plaster casting, which is the procedure for cutting out dental models, and on the other hand, there is wax casting, which is used to form a mold around the impression and then make the casting.
