Prevalencia de placa bacteriana en estudiantes de odontología

Objetivo: Analizar la prevalencia de placa bacteriana en estudiantes de odontología. Método: Descriptivo documental, la población fue de 15 artículos publicados en PubMed. Conclusión: La prevalencia de placa bacteriana en estudiantes de odontología subraya la necesidad de un enfoque educativo más integral que conecte eficazmente el conocimiento teórico con la práctica diaria de la higiene oral. A pesar de su formación avanzada, la persistencia de la placa bacteriana indica deficiencias en la implementación de hábitos de cuidado oral, potencialmente exacerbadas por la carga académica y el estrés.
