Regularization of ridges for adaptation of fixed prosthesis. Case report

Objective: To present a case report on ridge regularization for fixed prosthesis adaptation. Method: Clinical case report. Conclusion: In this clinical case, it was observed that the 78-year-old patient presented significant bone loss in the alveolar ridge, due to the use of a dental prosthesis for a period of 10 years. After performing the regularization of the alveolar ridge, the objective was achieved, thus providing adequate bone support, more stable and with better retention for the elaboration of a future removable total prosthesis.
