Resumen

Objetivo: Realizar un análisis comparativo de las propiedades y características entre las coronas de zirconio y la de metal porcelana. Método: Descriptiva documental. Conclusión: Se determina que el proceso de coronas dentales de metal cerámica es el proceso más empleado en la mayoría de los casos, sin embargo, se establece que las coronas de zirconio con el paso del tiempo y el aumento de las personas por mejorar su estética ha permitido que este tipo de prótesis crezcan en demasía y desplacen a las coronas antes mencionadas.
