Mejora funcional y estética mediante frenectomía labial superior. Reporte de caso

Objetivo: Presentar un reporte de caso para la mejora funcional y estética mediante frenectomía labial superior. Método: Se presenta el caso de una paciente femenina de 20 años que se encontraba en tratamiento ortodóntico hacia aproximadamente 1 mes. Conclusión: La frenectomía labial superior es un procedimiento efectivo y seguro para corregir problemas relacionados con el frenillo labial. Al eliminar o modificar el frenillo, se permite una mayor movilidad del labio superior, lo que puede mejorar la función del habla, la masticación y la estética facial. Además, este procedimiento suele ser relativamente sencillo y de rápida recuperación, con mínimas molestias y riesgos asociados.
