Interpretation of nursing care in people with diabetes mellitus

Objective: To analyze nursing care in people with diabetes mellitus. Methods: 15 scientific articles located in PubMed and SCIELO, published in the last 5 years, were reviewed. Conclusion: Nursing care in people with diabetes mellitus is essential to ensure adequate management of the disease and improve patients' quality of life. Nurses play a crucial role in monitoring and controlling the disease, as well as in providing emotional support to these individuals. Interdisciplinary collaboration is also essential to provide comprehensive and effective care to patients with diabetes mellitus.
