Abstract

Objective: to identify the criteria used in hemodynamic assessment by the nursing professional during the care of patients with postpartum hemorrhage in a hospital belonging to the public health system network. Methods: Descriptive observational study. Results: in hemodynamic resuscitation (HR), 100% of the nursing staff consider that the resuscitation process seeks to restore the balance between oxygen transport and consumption. Conclusion: Regarding the competencies of the nursing staff, it was determined that most of the graduates have appropriate knowledge of the pathophysiology of hypoperfusion, resuscitation and hemodynamic assessment. So that monitoring, diagnosis and treatment is strengthened from the specialized knowledge of nurses to ensure quality in the service provided.
