Abstract

Objective: To determine the influence of socioeconomic factors on work stress in first level health care personnel in the public service. Methods: Descriptive observational study. Results and Conclusions: It was determined that high occupational stress was present in 76.4% of the total population studied and that the occupational stressors under study had an influence on age, marital status and length of service. By virtue of the results, it was found that the majority of people feel dissatisfied with the presence of high bureaucracy, due to the lack of training and instruments to adequately perform their work.
