Abstract

Objective: to analyze the profile of obstetric emergencies attended at the Darío Machuca Palacios hospital. Method: Review of medical records for the months of September, October, November, December of the year 2021 was applied. Results and Conclusion: Regarding the age range, a young population between 12-24 years was determined, in regard to the country of origin. origin, 30.42% correspond to national patients, while 1.75% correspond to migrants of Venezuelan origin. While 31.07% of the users of the EO service do not have any type of insurance and those who maintain a period of hospitalization for two days presented difficulties in 15.54% during the period September-December 2021. In relation, Regarding the complications presented by the patients, 32.39% of the analyzed population presented obstetric difficulties.
