Objective: Describe the clinical characteristics, diagnosis and proper management of La Peyronie's syndrome. Method: A search was carried out in documents and clinical practice guides published by different societies and professional associations both in the Ecuadorian and international context. Results and conclusions: The same results that provided us with information about the causes, clinical manifestations, and diagnosis of La Peyronie's syndrome, using databases such as: Google Scholar, ClinicalKey, Amolca, Eureka, Pubmed, Scopus. In conclusion, La Peyronie's syndrome has been described as a state of severe penile fibrosis. We must pay attention to the penis, since, in a flaccid state, it can appear normal on inspection in a large percentage with this disease.
