Nursing care in patients with cervical cancer in cancer services

Objective: The objective of this article is to present a bibliographic review of academic-scientific publications that put nursing care in patients with cervical cancer into context. Method: Descriptive and exploratory study, the search for publications was carried out through databases such as Scielo, Elsevier, Dialnet and PubMed, through which 30 documents were obtained, of which 25 were selected. Results and conclusions: Based on the 25 documents reviewed, general bases on cervical cancer were established, as well as the main nursing care applied for this type of cancer. Nursing care in cases of cervical cancer in Latin American health services contributes to prevention, timely diagnosis, as well as the patient having support during the treatment process, emotionally and with accompaniment and guide in the post-cancer stage.
