Identification of electrical risk factors in the operating personnel of a private sector company

Abstract

Objective: To analyze the electrical risks (agent, factor or circumstance that can cause harm with or without contact) of the operative personnel working in electrical companies in Ecuador. Method: Observational, descriptive and documentary review. Conclusion: In relation to electrical risk prevention, the responses were at a medium level, because approximately half of the personnel chose the option sometimes, the items dealing with training activities and updating of knowledge on electrical risks, the implications of electrical safety and potential risks, with the approach that the updating of standards for any work of repair and calibration of electrical equipment is carried out by trained and qualified personnel by the company, according to the needs of the organization.
