Abstract

Objective: To estimate musculoskeletal disorders in the administrative personnel of the Clínica Metropolitana Riobamba, Ecuador. Methods: Descriptive observational study. Results: The report of the location of pain in the workers, according to the Nordic questionnaire, shows a predominance of discomfort in the neck (N=20), as well as discomfort reported in the dorsal or lumbar area (N=18). It can also be seen that, for the shoulder, the perception of musculoskeletal symptomatology (N=14) was predominant in the right arm, as was the case with the wrist or hand, but not in the elbow or forearm, where the results were similar on both sides. Conclusion: The level of action is important for the prevention of diseases, for the case of the ROSA method in the Very High level it is necessary to act as soon as possible.
