Strategies for improving nursing care

Background: The epistemological growth of the nursing student is required, a situation that contributes to strengthening critical and innovative thinking with the intention of promoting a new opportunity to achieve the effectiveness of learning that leads to generating awareness of new pedagogies for the care of the patient. Objective: to evaluate the strategies for the improvement of nursing care by promoting meaningful learning in university students. Methodology: Non-experimental observational descriptive type. Results: 47% of the population considers the empirical to be of greater significance. Conclusion: The area of strategies of greatest importance or significance is represented by the empirical line, which shows that students value with greater relevance, learning by doing, pedagogy that is important because it allows them to develop security to care for the patient.
